    1. Open model/provider settings.
    2. Select a custom OpenAI-compatible provider or custom API host.
    3. Enter a dedicated GetRouter API key.
    4. Use https://getrouter.ai/v1 when the field expects an OpenAI Base URL.
    5. Enter an exact MODEL_ID from Models.
    6. Save, restart if required, and send a short test message.

    If the current Chatbox release asks for a host rather than a Base URL, confirm whether it appends /v1 before saving. Do not enter a full /chat/completions endpoint unless the field explicitly requests it.
