    1. Create a dedicated API key with an appropriate expiry, quota, and model restriction.
    2. Copy the exact MODEL_ID from Models.
    3. Identify whether the tool uses Chat Completions, Responses, Anthropic Messages, or Gemini.
    4. Determine whether its field expects a service root, a /v1 base URL, or a full endpoint.
    5. Test plain text, streaming, tools, and multimodal inputs separately.
    6. Confirm the endpoint, status, usage, and cost in usage logs.
